We start 2010 on a very positive note, which is very different from 12 months ago when all was gloom and doom for the property market. However the market for Equestrian properties and properties with land has recovered very significantly especially those in the right area and which are well presented. Certainly there is a great shortage of properties and we are finding demand is outstripping supply.
On the Land front we have acheived some excellent results over the past few months with a number of astonished sellers obtaining well beyond their expectations. Certainly obtaining the best prices is about knowing the market and the likely buyers.
Over the past months I have witnessed a number of properties with excellent equestrian facilities being offered on the market and sold by normal high street house agents at prices well below their true values in the current market.
2010 could however have some surprises in store yet, certainly the elections will have a dampening effect on both supply and demand so for those vendors looking to sell in 2010 dont procrastinate give us a ring to obtain a valuation now the snow is disappearing.
